Harvest Dinner Dance

77 people recently attended our Fall Harvest Dinner Dance held on October 6th at the Masonic Lodge in Mt. View. 

Highlights of the evening included a silent auction of 21 items. Some of the more elaborate and exciting prizes included two separate ten-day vacation stays at a Bed and Breakfast Inn in Rosora, Italy; round-trip airline travel for two to anywhere in Europe; diamond stud earrings; $1,000 worth of accounting services; initiation fee in the Los Gatos Swim and Racquet Club; a stay at the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay, and a hand-made multi-colored quilt.

Jay Remley, LFNC board member, chaired this event with his wife, Sivi. Jay also emceed the evening’s activities. The Remleys were very resourceful and were successful in obtaining many of the incredible silent auction items.

Featured guest speaker was Dr. Emil Shieh, ophthalmologist, who spoke about “Lupus and the Eyes.”

A great meal was served by Caterman’s Catering and music throughout the evening was provided by Sound Works DJs.

We were very pleased to be able to net $10,619 from this event.
