The Lupus Foundation of Northern California (BALF) Proudly Introduces Three New Videos
Lupus in the Workplace Lupus in the Workplace is a nine minute video focusing on the employment issues of lupus patients. Good employees are valued and most employers are willing to make reasonable accommocation for those with chronic illness when there is good, open communication about their specific needs.This informative video discusses issues to be considered and how to involve the patient's doctor to help facilitate appropriate changes.
Lupus: Find it Early Lupus: Find it Early is a 12 minute video promoting the signs and symptoms of lupus and several lupus patients describe how lupus has affected their lives. More common in women, especially in minority populations, this program targets those who are most apt to develop the disease. This is appropriate for community presentations and health fair opportunities.
Life With Lupus Life With Lupus is a ten minute video focusint on how lupus affects the quality of life and how patients have had to make changes in their lifestyle to accommodate this disease. The services of the Lupus Foundation of Northern California are described. This program is appropriate for speaker's bureu opportunities, health fair exhibits and individual viewing.
Rental Policy One of the privileges of membership in the Lupus Foundation of Northern California is to be able to borrow from our video lending library for nominal $5 processing fee. Videos are loaned for ten days. Sustaining, Patron and Life member may borrow from the video library free of charge.
Video Purchase The individual purchase price for each video is $25. Please include $4.00 for postage. 8% sales tax of $2.00 for CA residents. Click here to order online.
